New Documents and Features

Over 800 new DATTA documents and 900+ new Philip Morris documents were added to LTDL today.

To see the new docs, do a search for 20080519 (May 19, 2008) in the date added to UCSF field (ddu:)-
ddu:20080519

Also in this new release, we have created a section called "Getting Started" which is intended for visitors that are new to the site or unfamiliar with LTDL's content. You will find the link for the section on the help page as well as the home page directly under Search the Documents -


"Getting Started" points the user to the search tutorial, highlights the types of documents and resources on LTDL, and provides examples of how others have used the tobacco documents for research projects, newspaper articles, exhibits, and more.
